Stone SB 1600 Mud Buggy
Stone Construction Equipment, Inc. introduces a 16 cu. ft. mortar buggy.The Mud Buggy, with a
load capacity of 2,500 lbs. has the versatility of a walk-behind or ride-on machine powered by a 13
hp Honda engine. It easily moves concrete, mortar, gravel, dirt, debris and more around the
toughest job sites.
The Buggy features an easy-to-clean, heavy-duty polyethylene tub that has been designed and
contoured to control splash. The 6.5-inch discharge height allows the operator to easily dump the
tub over forms and other obstacles. The one-piece, lift-away polyethylene engine cover requires no
tools to removed and can be lifted away for full access to the engine compartment without dumping
the tub.
The lockable, fold-up operator platform is contoured allowing increased maneuverability in confined
areas. It features an extra-large, platform-mounted service brake for added safety and a lower
center of gravity for added stability and extra traction over rough terrain. A large 8 gallon fuel tank
provides longer run times while the 7 gallon removable hydraulic tank allows for cooler running.
All operator controls are ergonomically-designed and centrally located within easy reach. They
include: Handlebar mounted speed control that can be moved to the left or right of the machine
depending on operator preference. A forward and reverse lever for machine direction control. A
dumping lever that provides for precise, controlled dumping. When the lever is released the tub will
hold its position.

hydraulic tank and engine via a baffled tank and a heat shield,
